Ocracoke Afterschool Programming
Is your child an Ocracoke student? Our spring Afterschool Program runs Jan 19-March 27. This program is a partnership between Ocracoke Alive, Hyde County 21st Century Program, the Ocracoke Library, and the Ocracoke UMC. Additional funding support comes from the NC Art Council. |

Deepwater Theater on Ocracoke's School Road is home to many of our activities. This is where we host student arts programming year-round, as well as summertime weekly performances of the Ocrafolk Opry. |

During the summer season, Wednesday night Ocrafolk Opry shows run weekly, May 20 through September30, (Thanksgiving show Nov 28), with Martin Garrish, Dallas Mason, Gary Mitchell, Fiddler Dave, Lou Castro, Jenny Hargrove, and special guests . TIckets will go live in the spring of 2026.
