Hey there Ocrafolk Sponsors!

After much deliberation, we are rolling out our plans for this year's Ocrafolk Festival. Before you sign up to become a sponsor, please read the details below.

Ocrafolk Festival 2021 will be a little different this year with COVID protocols in place. We want to make sure that our fans stay safe and feel secure. Because we are limiting audience capacities, Ocrafolk 2021 will be a much smaller fundraiser for Ocracoke Alive. Your critical sponsorship will help us take baby steps towards a brighter future. Thank you!
Timeline:
March 7 ~ Sponsorships Open
Mid-March ~ Performers Announced, Schedule Posted, Sponsors Reservations Accepted
Beginning of April ~ General Tickets Go On Sale
April 30 ~ Program Deadline for Sponsors

Changes in 2021
Location: Due to ongoing Hurricane Dorian reconstruction, Ocrafolk Festival 2021 will take place outdoors on the grounds of the Berkley Manor and adjoining properties.

Format: The weekend will be subdivided into 4-hour performance blocks. Reserved ticketed seating will be required at the Barn and Golden stages. Access to gated performance areas will be restricted to those who have a reservation for the current 4-hour performance block. Premiere, Program, and Patron levels of sponsorship come with 7 Reserved Pod Passes of different capacity depending on your level of sponsorship. That is one for each of the blocks throughout the weekend.

Seating: Seating will be divided into safely distanced pods (Single, Double, Family, 6-Person) for COVID safety. Audience capacity will be significantly reduced.

COVID Safety: Regardless of vaccines, masks (over nose and mouth) will be required on festival grounds, unless audience members are seated in their reserved pod. Festival grounds will be cleared in between each 4-hour performance block for cleaning and reset.

Artisan Booth and Workshop Stage Areas: Visitors will be permitted to visit the artisan booths and workshop stage areas without a reserved ticket. Masks will be required and areas may be gated and capacity monitored.

General Ticket Release Timeline: Sponsors will be permitted to select their seating beginning the third week of March, and Ocrafolk Festival General Tickets will go on sale towards the end of March beginning of April.

Ocrafolk Festival ~ A Community Festival with a Mission

Now in its 21st year, Ocrafolk Festival is recognized throughout our region as an extraordinary event in a one-of-a kind setting.  Your Ocrafolk Festival Sponsorship doesn’t just assist Ocracoke Alive in creating a weekend packed with incredible performances. It also supports hundreds of hours of student and community programming that would vanish without your funding.
So, thank you for your generosity! Let the magical journey begin! Although April 30 is the printed program deadline.  We can accept donations at any time and always add your name to our website (we can sometimes squeeze you in to the program after the print deadline, so don't hesitate to ask us).
