4:00-5:00 PM -- Storytelling with students from Donald Davis's Storytelling Workshop. (Deepwater Theater)
Come join participants in Donald Davis's Storytelling Workshop Week as they share new stories they have been crafting!

5:00-7:00 PM -- Ocrafolk Festival Feed (Live Oak Stage next to Books to be Red, School Rd.) Please note that this year the Friday food is not a poluck.  The Pony Island Restaurant will be providing great local fried fish or grilled chicken for $15 a plate.  Price includes a main dish, sides, and tea or water.  A special plate of mac n' cheese & peas will be made available to children only for $5.  Dessert will be free at the Ocrafolk Festival Art Auction, to be held at the Berkley Center.

A much-anticipated event, the art auction this year will focus on local artists—Ocracoke and the OBX. Complimentary desserts will be offered to guests and a cash wine/beer bar will be available during the preview, 5:30-7:30. The auction will start promptly at 7:30 PM. Artwork offered will be also be previewed on this webpage.

9:30 PM – Singer-Songwriter Circle (Ocracoke Coffee Company)
An exciting addition to the festival this year is the inaugural Singer-Songwriter's Circle, to be held at Ocracoke Coffee Company. This event, held in a relaxed setting, is an opportunity to showcase the songwriting skills of artists hidden amongst festival attendees and in the local community. Organized in an informal round-robin style, artists not featured in the festival line-up are encouraged to participate. Whether you're an experienced songwriter or someone hoping to share your very first song, bring your instruments and your compositions to what is bound to be a unique, and perhaps even inspiring, experience!
